I based The Fates of The Fates in mythology, the three deities who shaped the lives of people. In this fic, they shape every single thing in the entire universe, which is why they're synonymous with Destiny. It was all part of their grand plan to not Uncreate Jonghyun, because how Key's life and how he treats his job will be affected by his interactions with Jonghyun. That's one of the overarching themes of this whole fic, the whole butterfly effect. :)

In the end they just went back to the same lifestyle they were in before the Earth 'died' ? Yes and No. The Fates did say that they could do something for Jonghyun (that Key did not hear) even if they couldn't take him back in World's End. I know what they did, but I decided not to write it down since it doesn't go with the tone of the story. If you want to know though, I could probably tell you.
