i thought that when Jjong dies, he'll be brought to one of the gates and after sometime he'll be sent to a new being again...so you mean, when a 'human' dies his/her soul won't be 'reborn' like Jonghyun's? This question just depends on what you believe in. I mentioned in chapter two that only the Gatekeeper knows what's behind the gates, and that the humans see different places behind it. It's meant to be up to the readers interpretation.
