ON TRANSLATING FIC Hello! While I am extremely flattered that some of you think my fic merits translation, I would like to politely decline this request, especially translations in Chinese and Korean.

Most fics are now, and will remain, member-locked. Some are due to graphic content; but mostly it's because I'm uncomfortable with the idea of these fics being exposed to the universe more than they already are (especially if another eyk-type issue arises. I simply do not have the time to lock-and-reopen all entries for the public anymore). And yes, I know it's pretty easy to access them anyway, but there's a surprising amount of people who won't bother (not the least because Frank the Goat is enough of a boner-killer if they're just looking for smut), so. Fics that are recced a lot will be mostly public, marked with ✫. Note that R-NC-17 fics, even if highly recced, may still be member-locked.

ON TRIGGER WARNINGS There are some fics where I have chosen not to use warnings.
For fiction where I have not used warnings but have potentially triggering content, I will always put the blanket warning May contain triggering content. Read at your own risk. If you would still like to read it despite this but are worried, kindly message me on tumblr or twitter and I can probably give you a list of potential triggers in that fic. If no warnings are specified in the header, it's because there is nothing to warn for. :)

i loveddd dark angels and instead of running around, and stop this world is insanely addictive. All your one-shots are beauts, your photo fics are so realistically fluffy, and leaves a really nice fuzzy warm feeling when i think about them dskdfoop;l;
it's crazy how awesome your writing is. i love the way you describe things, your incredible ideas, the way you make plots progress, the feeling of 'hoshat, this is real, isn't it', even the spacing and the font and dfhdasof just everything. and im sure im not the only one out there that stays glued to the comp and solely waits for the new wonder we all know you're gonna come up with.

Most of these are really old (all the less than thousand words are) and were posted back when Jongkey fic was rare, so I'm not surprised a lot of the fans haven't seen them :)

And honestly, I'm not one to comment on how people's lives are especially when I don't know them at all XD But for me, finding a great book or a great story to get lost in is always an amazing experience and some of the highlights of my life are finishing amazing books that changed the way I think :)

I write because I want to tell a story, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate getting comments. Comments and thank yous are great. When readers tell me what they think, or if they leave comments on chaptered ongoing fics, it really encourages me to write and share. Because honestly, if no one lets me know that they like my writing, then I wouldn't post it up--or I'd give up on it completely. So yeah, I don't necessarily do it for the comments but comments keep me motivated to keep writing. Thanks are always appreciated ♥

I know what you mean! I love reading and writing --- although my writing has a long way to go, before it is coherent and succint enough to be moving/good, I would say =P haha. In fandoms like Jongkey, I always get delighted when I discover you know, that the people who write aren't just fangirls (but YAY FANGIRLING) but people who write, and are actually wonderfully creative/moving/good at it. What do you like to read (besides fanfics. LOL)? :D

I actually don't read fanfic in the KPop fandom anymore XD I read Drarry (Harry Potter) and Arthur/Eames (Inception) fics, and well, books. I like fantasy, sci-fi, YA, philosophy, Japanese authors--actually, as long as it sounds interesting, I try it. Right now I'm reading Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer, and House and Philosophy.

Oh. Why not anymore? Oh, sometimes I read Drarry too. heh. Japanese authours...Harui Murakami? Oh, have you read Never Let Me Go? (it's also a japanese authour too, loved the book). OH i really like Jonathan Safran Foer, have you read Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close? I borrowed Everything is Illuminated but I plan on finishing History of Love by Nicole Krauss first (she's Jonathan Safran Foer's wife, how cool is that), I really like her writing too.

Better fics in the Inception and HP fandoms--development, grammar and character-wise? I find that the Inception fandom have very smart, emotionally fulfilling, good technical writing and enjoyable fics as a standard instead of as an exception. I stopped reading Kpop fics around two years ago.

Murakami--I like his short stories, but I tend to trudge through his books. Yasunari Kawabata, Ryu Murakami, Natsuo Kirino, Ryonosuke Akutagawa etc. :) Extremely Loud... is on my two read list, since I have the Everything Is Illuminated - Extremely Loud... two-in-one hardbound edition. :) I need to get into moods to read certain kind of books though, the melancholy ones, and I picked up Everything is Illuminated because I was feeling down and it felt like a good time to read that kind of book. So far, it's doing it's job. As far as writer marriages go, my number one cool writer marriage is still Naoko Takeuchi and Yoshihiro Togashi heeee /rolls. Neil Gaiman is also one of my favorite authors.

Oh yeah, I get what you mean by the "exception" part. I find that I often have to dig my way through the fandoms to get to the fanfics that I think are the good ones. But, I'm wondering if in a way that makes it more fulfilling. But I'll def check the Inception fandom out, if they're as good as you say they are :) I guess it's the audience. kpop targed at (mostly/used to be) adolescent, squealy fangirls, Inception at a more mature, more book-oriented audience?
OH. AUTHOUR RECCOMENDATIONS. YAY. I'll definitley check those out sometimes, I'm currently in a reading mood. Wow, you know way more Japanese authours than I do, haha. Perhaps I shall return the honour?: Kafka, Margaret Atwood, Anne Michaels, Hilary Mantel (Wolf Hall!), Colum McCann (Let the Great World Spin). Out of curiosity, do you write anything besides fanfiction?

Having been on both sides, I actually think standards for fic get lower if this is the case. I never actually got into reading Kpop and Jpop fics like I did in anime or like I'm doing now in Inception fandom--in Kpop and Jpop, I'd only read it if the summary was extremely interesting and I tended to just read fics made by a handful of authors. I guess it's a bit cringing to see RPF written in canon!verse especially if the fics are a complete bastardization of the peoples' images or on how fans perceive them? I'm a bit of a Japanophile, I guess? I grew up with anime and manga, so it transitioned to reading books by Japanese authors too--I like the way the Japanese write, it's ensconced in so much detail with feelings. Like a western author would say, "It was sunny that morning.", a Japanese author would say, "The light streamed through the horizontal slots on the windows, the warmth touching her cheek as she lay in bed, fingers curled underneath the pillow...." etc. Thanks for the recs, I'll check them out when I'm done with my to-read list :) *pokes goodreads account*

I blog a little on Wordpress and I write internet articles part-time. I want to be a fulltime writer though, so I've got struggling artist stamped on my forehead, with the matching struggling bank account to boot. @.@
